Tanitoluwa Adewumi is a 10-year-old Nigerian boy that is excelling in the world of chess. The young boy won the New York State Chess Championship when he was eight. According to Adewumi, who won the prize in his age category at the New York game, he likes chess because it is a thinking game.
Faith Odunsi
The 15-year-old girl defeated participants from Europe, Africa, America, Asia, and Australia to emerge winner of the Global Open Mathematics Tournament. Faith is a senior secondary school 3 student from Ijebu, Ogun state. The teenager expressed her happiness and honor at winning the "tough competition."
Victory Yinka-Banjo
Victory Yinka-Banjo, a 17-year-old Nigerian girl, made herself proud after being offered full scholarships by Ivy League schools; Yale College, Princeton University, Harvard, and Brown College in both the US and Canada to the tune of more than $5 million (N2,043,450,000). The teenager had nine As in WAEC in 2020. Speaking about her recent achievement, Victory said the scholarships came as a surprise to her, adding that she never thought any school would even offer her admission.
Amanda Amaeshi
Amanda Amaeshi is a Nigerian-Scottish teenager who was celebrated after winning the 2020 Glasgow Times young Scotswoman of the year. The 16-year-old girl has created a track record of speaking strongly against racism and injustices in whatever guise.
Chika Ofili
Chika Ofili made Nigeria proud when he was 12 years old. He won an award at the TruLittle Hero award in 2019 for discovering a new way to divide in mathematics. The young mathematics genius' new formula created new divisibility by seven in mathematics.
