Alexi Ashe is an American human rights attorney by profession. She is a service provider and advocates for survivors of different types of gender violence such as domestic violence. Aside from being a career woman, she is the wife of popular comedian Seth Meyers. The New York State Anti-Trafficking Coalition is honored to have Alexi as their co-chair. She is also a board member of Human Rights First.

Early Life
Born on April 1, 1983, in New Mexico, Alexi was welcomed into the world by her parents, Tom and Joanne Ashe. She was not raised as an only child; she has a sister, Ariel Ashe, who is an interior decorator and co-founder of Ashe + Leandro. The two sisters grew up in Albuquerque, where Alexi completed her high school education before joining Occidental College in 2002.
At Occidental College, she pursued a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government, graduating in 2006. In 2009, she enrolled in Southwestern University School of Law, where she continued to excel academically. By 2011, she earned a Doctorate of Law specializing in International Human Rights.
Career
Alexi's professional journey has been remarkable. Before attending law school, she worked as a policy and research analyst at the Los Angeles City Attorney's office from March 2007 to April 2009. In this role, she assisted in developing gang prevention curricula for middle school students and engaged with the community through presentations and child abuse review panels.
After law school, in April 2011, she interned at the Somaly Mam Foundation, where her primary responsibility was to create legal guidelines for civil litigation against adult workers. Later that year, she moved to New York, joining the King’s County District Attorney’s Office as a pro bono assistant DA, where she prepared legal documents and oversaw complex criminal investigations.
Personal Life
Alexi Ashe and Seth Meyers met at Chris Kattan's wedding, where Alexi was invited by her sister Ariel. They dated for five years before tying the knot on September 1, 2013, at Chickemmoo Farm in Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts. Surprisingly, Alexi suffered from food poisoning during her rehearsal dinner, but the couple proceeded with their wedding plans despite the setback!
Seth Meyers is an accomplished comedian and host, known for his late-night talk show, 'Late Night with Seth Meyers'. Their relationship has been a blend of love, laughter, and mutual support in their respective careers.
Children
The couple welcomed their first child, Ashe Olsen Meyers, on March 27, 2016. Two years later, they celebrated the arrival of their second son, Axel Strahl. Interestingly, Axel was born in the lobby of their apartment, with Seth calling 911 for assistance just moments before Axel arrived.
